Archiving Links in Enterprise

To maintain a clean and accurate account, users or admins may want to archive links that are no longer needed by their team.

How to Archive a Link

To archive a single link, navigate to Links in the left navigation. Here, you will find a table view of your links.

Click on the link you wish to archive. This will open the Link Details drawer. In the upper right, click Edit.

Once the link is ready to edit, scroll down the page to the Archive/ Delete Link Date section.

Chose Archive from the dropdown menu and specify the date when you wish the action to occur. This will schedule the link to archive on the selected date.

NOTE:

When deleting a link, it can not be revoked. Deletion is permanent. However, when archving a link, it can be reactivated at any time.

What happens when you archive a link?

Archiving a link effectively stops the link without deleting it completely. If someone clicks the link, they would be redirected to your selected root or home page. BLINK would not count link traffic within the analytics page from the moment the link is archived.

Users will still be able to view the link, but the link status is then marked "Archived" instead of "Active".

These links will still be included in your Links and users can search for them by keyword, BLINK ID, etc.  To quickly find all archived links, you can filter by status and select the value Archived.

How to Unarchive a Link

Navigate to Links in the left navigation. Here, you will find a table view of your links.

Click on the link you wish to review. This will open the Link Details drawer. In the upper right, click the three dots.

When the dropdown menu appearsyou can select Unarchive Link to make the link Active again
