BL.INK's Home Page setting tells the domain what to display if someone visits the domain with no added keyword.
When using a custom domain with BL.INK, it is required to point the domain to BL.INK so that the traffic is directed to the right place. Because of this, the domain will, by default, direct the user visiting the domain to BL.INK.
BL.INK offers a configuration to point a domain or subdomain to a destination of the user’s choosing.
If a Home Page value is not set, visitors will be directed to the BL.INK login page.
Configuring the Home Page in BL.INK
To set up a home page, first, log in to BL.INK. If there are multiple domains, make sure the correct domain is selected in the domain menu at the top of the screen.
Then, click on the Admin button on the left side of the dashboard in BL.INK and navigate to Root pages.
Now, enter the redirect URL. This is the location that users will be redirected to if they were to try and access the domain with no added keyword (ex: yourdomain.com).
Click Update to save the changes. This should take effect almost immediately. If the changes are taking a while to take effect, try clearing the cache or checking from a smartphone.
TIP:
Users may also use a BL.INK short link for the Home Page destination to keep track of how often it's clicked or to easily redirect where it is routed.
