Creating and Editing an E-Link Page

BLINK's E-Link feature streamlines the creation of branded short links and QR codes for enterprise companies, ensuring correct tracking attributes and adherence to brand guidelines. It enhances security by directing users to approved destinations, boosting both efficiency and brand consistency.



Creating a New E-Link Page


NOTE:

In order to create a new E-Link page, you must be an admin on an Enterprise plan.


To create a new E-Link page, start by logging in to BLINK.


From the left navigation, click on Admin > E-Link


Here, you will see a list of all of the E-Link pages on your account. Click the Create New Template button on the right.




Manage E-Link

In the Manage E-Link tab, enter a name for the new E-Link page. Add an optional description, and then enter a keyword for the E-Link page URL. This is the link you will share with your organization to allow them to access the E-Link page.


Click the button to toggle QR codes on to allow users to download a QR code when creating the new links. When toggled on, you may also select a QR template for the QR code downloads to ensure that the QR codes match your branding guidelines.


Then, enter the domain(s) that applies to the new E-Link page. Next, select a Link Template (optional) to ensure that links created on the E-Link page have the correct attributes applied for enhanced tracking.


Select the Redirect Type.

Finally, to disable keyword editing for the E-Link page, click the toggle. Disabling keyword editing ensures that users must use the auto-generated keyword upon link creation. 


Customize E-Link

To customize the appearance of the E-Link page, click on the Customize E-Link tab on the left. 



Start by selecting Background Color or Background Image. If you choose background color, you may click on the color swatch to open the color picker. Selecting background image allows you to upload an image for the background.


Choose a Header Color by clicking the color swatch. Then choose your Header Text Color


To upload a logo or image for the header, switch the toggle for Logo on and click to upload an image from your computer.


Inputs Label Color allows you to customize the color of each field header. 


To customize the button color, click on the color swatch under Button Color. Then choose your Button Text Color


Additional customization options include:


Headline
A custom headline for your E-Link page.
Description
A custom description for your E-Link page.
Footnote Text
Custom text that displays below the form on the E-Link page.
Powered by BLINK
Toggle allows you to enable or display Powered by BLINK in the footer.
Custom Footer
Allows you to paste custom HTML for the page footer.
Contact Information
Enable to enter an email address or contact phone number on the E-Link page header.
Custom CSS
Enter custom CSS to further customize the E-Link page.
Saved Link Text
Enter custom text for the Link Saved page after a user creates a new link.

Once you have entered all of your settings and customizations, click Create to save the E-Link page as a draft. Then click Publish to make the page accessible from the E-Link page URL.


Editing an E-Link Page

To edit an existing E-Link page, start by logging in to BLINK. 


From the left navigation, click on Admin > E-Link


Use the search and filtering options to locate the E-Link page, and then click on the Edit icon.



Once you have made your changes, click Update to save. If the page has already been published, the changes will go live immediately. 


To unpublish an E-Link page, click on the Edit icon and click the Unpublish button in the upper right.


Deleting an E-Link Page

To delete an E-Link page, start by logging in to BLINK. 


From the left navigation, click on Admin > E-Link.


Use the search and filtering options to locate the E-Link page, and then click on the Delete icon.


A pop-up will appear to confirm. Click Delete to proceed.


Duplicating an E-Link Page

To duplicate an E-Link page, start by logging in to BLINK.


From the left navigation, click on Admin > E-Link


Use the search and filtering options to locate the E-Link page, and then click on the Copy icon.


This will open the E-Link customizations with all settings duplicated. Enter a new Template Name and E-Link Page URL, make any additional customizations and then click Create to save your changes. To publish, click on Publish.
