This article will walk you through setting up SSO for your account within BL.INK Enterprise.
Single sign-on (SSO) allows you to give your team members one account for all of the systems your business uses.
How does my organization set up SSO?
Security Assertion Markup Language, or SAML, is an open standard used for authentication. Based upon the Extensible Markup Language (XML) format, web applications use SAML to transfer authentication data between two parties - the identity provider (IdP) and the service provider (SP).
If you have a BL.INK Enterprise account and have SAML-based SSO set up, you can require users to log in to BL.INK using their SSO credentials by following along below.
NOTE:
An IT administrator with experience creating applications in your identity provider account should do this setup process.
What steps do we need to follow for set up?
NOTE:
This process may differ depending on the primary location of your account. For example, North America vs. Europe.
Start by logging into your identity provider account. Collect the Audience URI and Sign-In URL.
BL.INK requires an x509 encoded in PEM or CER certificate format.
Officially start the process of set up by emailing this information to [email protected] with the subject line of "SSO Setup for [My Company]". Within this email include the following:
- Sign in URL
- x509
- Company logo you would like to appear at login
BL.INK will then provide back a post-back URL.
Are there alternative ways to set this up?
For users of Microsoft ADFS or Entra, please provide the ADFS Metadata Source, the ADFS URL or Federation Metadata File.
